We have had many dentists for our kids, some better than others. We are so happy to have found this practice as every single person we have been treated by has been amazing with kids and outstanding to work with as a parent! No unreasonable wait times or billing shenanigans. We have a wide range of ages and all have done well here.
First off, I am a little nervous going to the dentist but was right away put at ease by Ms. Aury at the front desk. Such a pleasure to check in with and talk to. Wait time was very short, about 5 minutes and Ms. Giselle called me back. Never experienced a first appointment as pleasant as this. Professional but not overly so, provided the human part of the evaluation too. She totally eased all of my apprehension. Then Dr. Farhan did his exam. He listened to my concerns then explained everything to me and suggested a plan of attack. This was the best first appointment experience at a dentist I have ever had. Think I have found my permanent dentist… Wish I could give the whole office ten stars
I was so nervous to have my wisdom teeth pulled but the team here was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to give me peace of mind both before and after my procedure. They were also fast and flexible with my schedule.
My hygienist is amazing! Great energy, very gentle. She listens to your sensitivities and never causes pain. Bedside manner on point! She is such a lovely person. I request her every time because I went from anxiety-ridden tension to relaxed and comfortable with her. She is healing my trauma with dentistry. Such a pleasant experience every time. This beautiful soul needs a raise for sure. She goes above and beyond.

Just moved to area so needed a dentist. Found one close to home and made appointment. Wow, my experience was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, professional and happy to meet me! It was the absolute best experience I ever had in a dental chair! Would recommend them to anyone!
Wonderful experience. I had not been to a dentist in a long time and was very anxious about going today. The dentist & staff were just so genuinely caring. The dentist took a great deal of time with me, explaining possible treatment plans. I felt so much better! Would highly recommend!!
I had such a wonderful experience today! As someone who definitely does NOT like to go to the dentist, I will say today was very pleasant. Check in was fast and every person involved in my care was pleasant and efficient. Nikki was absolutely the best she was patient and kind and went out of her way to help with my first visit and a crown that came off this am. Dr Farhan was the best dentist I’ve ever went to. He explained in detail everything and he suggested a treatment plan and Nikki explained the treatment plan he made for me and I am delighted at this decision. You will not be disappointed with this Dental Office; call and make an appointment today!

Such an amazing dental office!! Everyone is so kind and welcoming right when you walk in the door, and it makes you feel seen. My dentist is especially wonderful and has taught me SO much about the health of my teeth. If it wasn’t for her, I would not have the healthy set of teeth and gums that I do now, and I’m thankful. 100% recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a great dentist!
Both my dental hygienist and the doctor did an amazing job. They were very friendly, and you could tell that they genuinely cared about you. Plus, I love the clean and modern new facility.

I have an autoimmune disorder that causes oral blistering and requires quarterly perio-maintenance. I see Luigi Ungria as my dental technician, and he is absolutely awesome. He goes above and beyond to perform my cleanings with a minimum of discomfort. He is very caring and sympathetic to my problem.
Only been twice, but after the first trip, I decided to go back if I needed more help. They were the most considerate, kind, nice folks. That was true of today’s visit as well. Very, very professional, happy to answer any questions I had regarding the service I was receiving. Good group, Thanks.

OMG!! I found my forever dentistry family. Everyone was so wonderful,from the front desk,xray,hygienist and dentist. My previous dentist office closed with no warning and finding a new practice is hard,especially when you have anxiety about going to the dentist. I highly recommend this practice and already planning on getting my daughter an appointment who just moved to town. Go!!! You will love them
Went in today for my first visit and had a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, the front desk greeted me warmly. The office was very clean and inviting. Every staff member I encountered was kind and friendly. That was the most thorough, gentle cleaning I’ve ever gotten. They were compassionate, even though I was a little nervous. 10/10 recommend this dentist's office!
Here at the Selma Brush and Floss Orthodontics. They are awesome. So friendly, and they are being very specific about my teeth straighten process. Come on down, get a consultation if you’re considering braces. Wonderful staff.

Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was extremely friendly and professional. The office was clean and bright. The doctor provided helpful feedback on the health status of my teeth and care I might consider going forward.
The front desk staff was efficient, gracious, and greeted me by name and eye contact. I found that all staff members were the same as above. They continuously asked if I was comfortable and asked if the procedures were causing pain. This was a great experience for me as I am “dentist phobic”.

I took my daughter here today after dealing with another pediatric dentist who was unable to treat my daughter due to her high anxiety, and WOW, it was a difference of night and day. They are amazing. They were so good with my daughter that they were able to build rapport and make her feel relaxed. I am so happy and wish I had taken my kids here before. I highly recommend this pediatric dentistry for their professionalism and the care they provide.

This was my first visit… from the receptionist who was lovely to the X-ray technician another enjoyable person to the doctor, who listened to me to the hygienist, again was lovely. I felt very comfortable and welcomed to this grand group.
Today was my daughter's first time coming to the dentist, and she was extremely nervous. The staff was very nice and polite. They kept us informed during the visit. They work great with kids. My daughter was so happy with her appointment. This is by far one of the best experiences I have had in a while!

This staff is beyond patient and understanding. The dentist(s) at this location provide detailed, honest answers about care, hygiene. Very thorough anesthesia process; I was their last appointment, and the staff and dentist kept high energy and were mindful of all my concerns about the procedure.
Fantastic staff. I went in with anxiety due to past experience with previous dentist pressuring me to have dental work, that I couldn't afford. But today's visit was great, no pressure, I was informed of what's needed and we came up with a plan. Very friendly and patient staff & put me at ease about visiting the dentist.
I had the most wonderful experience at Riccobene Ass. Family Dentistry on yesterday! I've always had dental anxiety because every one that I've visited, always did something wrong, but here, was totally different. My dental hygienist made me feel comfortable and she was very gentle while working on me. She told me everything that she was doing to me from start to finish and listened to my concerns. My dentist was the same - he eased my fears and made me eager to come back for further work that needs to be done so that I can comfortably smile again! Just had a wisdom tooth removal with these guys and what a great experience! Professional, attentive, and great bedside manners. The process was easy and the doctor talked to me throughout the entire time. I felt comfortable and safe. Super happy with my experience overall and wouldn’t dare go anywhere other than here for my future removals/oral needs.
The entire facility was very organized and clean. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. My cleaning and examination was the most thorough I have ever had. My follow-up care has been second to none. This has been an excellent choice for dental care; thank you all very much!
Dr. Bassham and Sheletta have done fabulous work with my orthodontic Invisalign care. I have recently completed my treatment and now have perfectly straight teeth thanks to their efforts and training. They welcomed questions and always guided the treatment to my best personal outcome. If you are looking for a dentist that will take time to learn and hear you, and not see you as just a number, then go see them.
I contacted Riccobene Family Dentistry Sept 4, 2025, regarding a toothache I was experiencing. They were very accommodating and scheduled me for an appointment the very next day, which I truly appreciated. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable right away. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long before being seen.
The entire staff is excellent, professional & friendly! My son had a prior negative experience & unfortunately 2 repeat visits to another dentist. [...] My son did great and actually enjoyed the visit?! The dentist was very helpful and reassuring about dental work to be done and how to go about it. I can't praise this practice and it's employees enough! If your child is hesitant or even fearful, I definitely recommend Riccobene & this location!

Dr Papio and her team are exceptional. I came to their office with an unfinished Invisalign treatment. The difference in care with an orthodontist vs general dentist is obvious. My teeth are now moving the way they need to, each visit dramatically improved. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Wilmington area.
The staff at Riccobene are excellent! Quiana is an AMAZING dental tech. It was the best cleaning experience I ever had! I especially liked the extra care she took to clean around my bottom front teeth permanent retainer. NO ONE has ever used the tech scaling she used. Moreover, she was personable, patient, and professional!! Thank you!!

I moved to Charlotte fairly recently and have been to Riccobene Ballantyne for my past 2 cleanings. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Kelly was my hygienist on my most recent visit and she made the whole experience very comfortable and left my teeth feeling great. Dr. Ge is very clear about what treatment is needed and why. I am very happy about my choice of dentist in Charlotte.
I went in for a deep cleaning and fillings with sedation, and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had at a dentist. The staff was incredibly kind, reassuring me every step of the way and making sure I understood what to expect after the sedation. The entire process was quick and easy. If you have dental anxiety, this is definitely the place to go! 10/10 experience.

After years of ducking the dentist I finally decided to go, I was nervous because who knows what they are going to tell me and that sharp hook tool makes me uneasy lol. The staff was so warm and inviting and the dental assistant really helped me relax and not worry. Fast forward to 6 months after my first visit my gums are healthy and teeth looking better than ever. My mother, my daughter, and I go here for all of our dental needs. My daughter has major anxiety, and going to the dentist is a challenge. She does well with cleaning and exams. But she recently had to get cavities filled. Her anxiety got the best of her, and she had to reschedule her visit. Today, we went, and the ENTIRE staff that we interacted with was amazing. They were patient with her, they were caring, and they answered all of her questions. She got in and out in under an hour. They took their time and made her feel so comfortable and at ease. This will forever be our dental home!
Every aspect of my experience with Riccobene Garner has exceeded my expectations. I was in really bad shape when I started with them, but they fixed all my problems with sedation dentistry. That was 09-2022. I go back every 6 months, and today was one of them. I was again good to go. Thank you to all the great folks who take care of me!!!!!

I was met by friendly staff who explained every treatment recommended, ran my insurance for them, and set appointment dates. The dentist was professional and thorough. AND I appreciated the parking pass in the adjacent lot.
After some bad experiences led to a severe phobia of the dentist, I avoided going for years. When I finally came back, Riccobene did a great job of helping me get caught up on my dental care and offered sedation that made returning much easier. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and can no longer receive most types of dental sedation (especially nitrous), but Riccobene's hygienists are so gentle and patient that I've been able to keep up with my regular cleanings without any undue fear or discomfort. I really appreciate how much they've helped me get back on top of my dental health.
Recently had a dental emergency and was having a lot of pain with a crown not fitting quite right and the office staff got me in less than 24 hours after I called and the dentist adjusted my crown in no time and I was feeling better in less than an hour. [...] If you need any work done, absolutely give them a call. You'll have an amazing experience from the incredibly kind ladies at the front desk to the talented dental staff.

This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had going to the dentist! The staff was incredible - Emily could not have been kinder and more helpful during my booking and check-in - and Carin - my hygienist was exceptional! She was thorough, friendly, and put every bit of my anxiety to rest. Dr. Adam Smigiel (and Stella of course!) made the whole experience a joy and I left feeling amazed and grateful to find my new dentist!
Went in for extreme pain in my jaw and got tested super quickly and the Doctor did an awesome job of keeping me calm! Also his assistant was absolutely incredible! Loved the whole experience and I'm usually terrified of the dentist!
I have always been a regular at the dentist, but this is by far the best dentist I have ever been to! They are SO caring and helpful, talk you through everything, and actually care about you as a patient. I recommend them to everyone!
I scheduled a cleaning at 8 am on each of my last 2 birthdays. The whole staff came in, sang happy birthday, presented me with a card and a cookie with a candle in it. Great way to start my birthday!
Staff and doctor are courteous and address concerns. Feel I am getting comprehensive care. The office and exam rooms are clean and organized. Also, They take my Medicare insurance!!!
I had to go to the dentist to get some teeth removed. I was very nervous, but they were very accommodating and helped me relax. Everybody was great. The doctor was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had been awake all night the night before with a toothache, and I called in this morning to see if I could get an appointment, and they took me in. The doctor looked at it and determined it needed to be extracted. She was pleasant and had it out before I knew it. Everyone was so nice.
Great place. Dr. Smigiel pulled 2 teeth and didn’t feel a thing. Made a temporary bridge that looks great. Aimee is the greatest dental assistant. Returned to get fitted for a bridge. Wore the temp bridge for 4 weeks. The permanent bridge was put in yesterday. It looks and feels great. Dr. Smigiel did a great job.
The hygienists were amazing! Friendly and thorough. This was our 1st visit. The office was taking excellent precautions. We felt safe. They gave excellent follow up suggestions. So happy we found Jakubek Dentistry.
Receptionist was welcoming a plus! She knew her stuff concerning insurance. The hygienist was friendly, and when she stepped away, she indicated she would be right back, preparing another patient. The dentist is excellent seen her before, and it’s always genuine. I am a Medical Office Manager, and my experience with Riccobene Dentistry is outstanding. This was an emergency appointment got me right in the same day. Thank you for all you do, it’s noticed!
I had an excellent first visit for dentures. Dr. Riccobene went above and beyond to get my imprints correct. My mouth is small and he adjusted the trays. I definitely recommend him and his staff. They were friendly, professional and kind.
The practice is great… The workers in there are great, you know, everybody is so nice and so helpful. I love it there, and I love the way the DENTIST talks to you while he’s doing what he’s doing because it helps to let you know what’s going on.
Best Cleaning I’ve had in a long time!!! My hygienist was very thorough, and you can tell she took pride in what she did and how her work was. My teeth felt amazing after and still do. I had a very enjoyable time at my appointment. I also came to them for a previous filling that had cracked, and now I had a hole in my tooth. The dentist was amazing! The office was able to schedule me sooner than later. I also couldn’t have asked for a better Dentist! He was knowledgeable, and you can tell he was a perfectionist who took pride in great work. I was in good hands. My tooth feels amazing and is back to being normal. I won’t be seeing anyone else. Great staff, very helpful, polite, and professional. Thank you so much to everyone there!

This dental office has restored my faith and confidence in getting my teeth fixed. Their extremely friendly staff and lovely Dr. addressed all of my concerns and treated me with respect. If you are worried about getting dental treatment I highly recommend this place.
Normally, I don’t do too many of these, but to the ladies that helped my daughter Raina today…you truly are amazing. This is never an easy day for parents with a special needs children who are terrified of the dentist for no reason. We appreciate you more than you know.

Excellent customer service; very clean facility; knowledgeable staff; positive experience. Chris was my hygienist and I really enjoyed him. He is clearly an expert in his field but also was very gentle and calming in his work. Dr. Farhan was also a pleasure to work with; he took his time explaining my dental status. He was also patient in allowing me to ask questions. And finally, I don't remember the front desk staff members' names but they were SO NICE and welcoming! I recommend this practice!

I had a fantastic experience at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Apex, NC! This is my favorite dentist's office. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. My dental cleaning was thorough yet gentle, and the hygienist was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured I was comfortable the entire time.

The dentist and assistant were excellent and very patient due to my deafness. They were compassionate enough to communicate via texting. I could have requested an interpreter like last time, but I decided not to since it was only cleaning teeth.
From check-in, to my actual appointment time with my dental hygienist, my experience was amazing! I not only felt heard by my hygienist, but I felt safe and appreciated. She took her time to explain my dental history, as well as the procedure that would take place, while answering all of my questions with patience. This was my first visit to Riccobene Dentistry, and they did not disappoint! I needed to find a new dentist in the NETWORK due to retirement and chose them by reading their stellar reviews. My hygienist was the most efficient dental hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth with no unpleasantness. I really liked my dentist, who was also very pleasant and informative. I have had a couple of chips on my front tooth that have been bothering me for a few years. I’ve been told by a couple of other dentists that the chips could only be reshaped, but not filled, which I did not want because I wanted my natural tooth shape. The doctor fixed everything so perfectly and made it look exactly like my natural tooth. He respected my wishes not to shave down my natural tooth and talked me through every step. He is extremely patient, professional, and artistic with the tooth compositing. I am so happy and can’t believe how good my teeth look. His assistant was also so patient and warm. I’m very happy and highly recommend!!

When I tell you I've NEVER had a better team of dentistry people I mean it! I can't stop telling people everywhere how compassionate Dr Farhan and his assistant Que were. I'm 62 and still have anxiety at the dentist. But they really did a great job in explaining everything. Also the front desk, Ms Nikki is marvelous! she helped me with everything! My dental hygienist made me feel comfortable the entire time she cleaned my teeth! She also engaged in conversation, which really calmed me down. She answered all of my questions during my visit and even got me scheduled quickly to get my cavity filled. The front desk staff is also very nice and attentive!
My 15yo had his wisdom teeth removed here. Not only did I save money, my son loved everyone who helped us. He was nervous about the shots, but didn't even feel them! His mouth barely hurt afterward & that says a lot about the care he got during the procedure. When a 15yo doesn't complain you know he actually was doing ok. He liked them so much he wants to use them as his regular dentist. Thank you for taking such good care of my kid.
Kristie, Niki, and Aury were incredibly attentive, kind, and patient with me. This dental practice is ideal for those who experience dental anxiety. It has truly been the best dental experience I've had, so I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming visit ☺️
