While doctor's visits are not at the top of my list of favorite things, both the staff, dental hygienists, and dentist at this office are wonderful. I had an insurance mess up, and they worked with me to do what they could on their end to check daily, reschedule appointments, and check in with me for status updates. In what was a frustrating situation that was completely out of my hands, they made me feel like they would work with me to find a resolution.
Great initial consultation. Mandi was great with my kids. Dr. Bassham was clear in her explanations and pictures.
We are so happy to have found a GREAT dentist's office! They were able to accommodate my whole family in one afternoon, within a week of first calling. Everyone at the office was so kind and friendly, as if we had known each other for years. I could not recommend this office more! 5+ stars!
I am new to NC and found this Dentist researching my insurance and patient reviews. I just had my first visit today and I was very impressed. Everyone was on time and very helpful. They are very up to date on their equipment, even showing off some stuff I had never seen before! My hygienist [...] was great! Very friendly and efficient. I believe I made the right choice for my new dentist!
Very nice staff and office, Kelly was very nice and informative. She really put me at ease. The dentist was very kind also. The ladies at the desk were very friendly. Everything about my initial visit has been awesome!
My kids and I have been going to Riccobene ever since we moved here in 2018. We've always been well taken care of. Everyone has been personable and understanding when I have to bring our baby to my appointments. The dental hygienists have always done an awesome job with each of us. The dentist is also thorough with his exam at the end. My kids love going to the dentist. Probably because they know they'll get little toys at the end for being helpful during the appointments.

I’ve been going to Dr. Jakubek’s office for almost a decade now. His team is friendly and always ready for each appointment. And he does amazing work! I had him replace some crowns I got when I was younger and they looked much better than what I had. I highly recommend him for your dental needs.

I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to be seen as a new patient. However, they didn’t have anything available for six weeks out. But the receptionist called me back within an hour and said they had an available appointment for Thursday, which was great. Today, I would say the visit went well, and no judgment from the staff; everyone was very friendly and respectful…I can’t wait to get my treatment plan started. The hygienist and the assistant were very professional and never passed judgment.
Kristie, Niki, and Aury were incredibly attentive, kind, and patient with me. This dental practice is ideal for those who experience dental anxiety. It has truly been the best dental experience I've had, so I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming visit ☺️
This is the best dentist I’ve been to. Everyone I’ve seen has been super nice and even my daughter who is anxious about everything has always had a great experience here. We’ve always felt comfortable and they don’t try to get you to do unnecessary things. I’d definitely recommend them!
Having recently relocated from Nashville, I needed to find a new dentist and was recommended to Riccobene Associates by a colleague. I am certainly glad that I took them up on the suggestion. Highly recommended!!!
I was met by friendly staff who explained every treatment recommended, ran my insurance for them, and set appointment dates. The dentist was professional and thorough. AND I appreciated the parking pass in the adjacent lot.
The doctor and her staff are amazing. They were so patient and accommodating with us and our 3-year-old triplets on their first "big kids" dental visit. Thank you for making the dentist a pleasant experience for them.

Both my dental hygienist and the doctor did an amazing job. They were very friendly, and you could tell that they genuinely cared about you. Plus, I love the clean and modern new facility.

I had the most wonderful experience at Riccobene Ass. Family Dentistry on yesterday! I've always had dental anxiety because every one that I've visited, always did something wrong, but here, was totally different. My dental hygienist made me feel comfortable and she was very gentle while working on me. She told me everything that she was doing to me from start to finish and listened to my concerns. My dentist was the same - he eased my fears and made me eager to come back for further work that needs to be done so that I can comfortably smile again! Thank you so very much for being professional, caring and understanding!
The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are very nice and take their time with you. My daughter had a bad experience at her previous dentist, and when I explained that to them. They were very understanding and very gentle. I appreciate them and highly recommend this office.
This was by far the best dental experience I’ve had. As someone with dental anxiety, I can say this was the most comfortable experience I’ve had in going to the dentist, thanks to the staff and doctors!

It was a smooth and relaxing appt. I was told every detail before it happened as well as the cost. I appreciated the entire visit.
5/5 stars. This was my first time to the dentist in years, So naturally I was nervous; however, the staff was so friendly and well coordinated I felt so comfortable immediately. I can tell they enjoy working there and as someone who has anxiety about every little detail they put my mind at ease.
After some bad experiences led to a severe phobia of the dentist, I avoided going for years. When I finally came back, Riccobene did a great job of helping me get caught up on my dental care and offered sedation that made returning much easier. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and can no longer receive most types of dental sedation (especially nitrous), but Riccobene's hygienists are so gentle and patient that I've been able to keep up with my regular cleanings without any undue fear or discomfort. I really appreciate how much they've helped me get back on top of my dental health.
I had a dental emergency and was able to be seen right away. The entire staff was caring and efficient. I will highly recommend this office to all my neighbors.
I went in for a deep cleaning and fillings with sedation, and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had at a dentist. The staff was incredibly kind, reassuring me every step of the way and making sure I understood what to expect after the sedation. The entire process was quick and easy. If you have dental anxiety, this is definitely the place to go! 10/10 experience.
I visited this dental clinic for the first time today, and was thoroughly impressed with the staff. My dentist, as well as her assistant, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Today's visit was to determine the treatment that will be needed. I look forward to returning to complete the work to be done soon.
They truly just want to help you feel confident about your smile and dental health. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to dentist offices, but I felt comfortable the whole time. Staff is super nice and facility is clean. Highly recommend!!
All the staff at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry that I’ve worked with have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Questions I’ve had have been answered thoroughly, including follow-up messages and ensuring that my coverage is being utilized accurately. I’ve been impressed with their efforts to make sure that I am getting the most out of my benefits. The dental hygienists I’ve interacted with so far are truly good at what they do. They check and make sure that you’re comfortable, that you understand what’s happening, are friendly and extremely skilled. The dentist and orthodontist I’ve worked with at Riccobene are also fantastic. I had a root canal, and I couldn’t imagine it being a better experience. Top-notch care.
I've not been real good at coming in as I should ,but the office welcomed me back with a smile. They were more than happy to explain everything I needed to know, asked if I had questions, and spent extra time with me to get a new crown in place.
Only been twice, but after the first trip, I decided to go back if I needed more help. They were the most considerate, kind, nice folks. That was true of today’s visit as well. Very, very professional, happy to answer any questions I had regarding the service I was receiving. Good group, Thanks.
My experience with Riccobene Associates for a basic routine first-time dental appointment (new patient) was the best I have ever experienced. Mindy was very polite and explained in detail everything about the procedures. X-rays were of the state-of-the-art technology, and the cleaning was absolutely pristine and checked by the Dentist himself…

This was my first visit… from the receptionist who was lovely to the X-ray technician another enjoyable person to the doctor, who listened to me to the hygienist, again was lovely. I felt very comfortable and welcomed to this grand group.
Today was my first visit to this dentist. It was a wonderful experience. I get very anxious when I go to the dentist but the staff there made me feel comfortable. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very gentle. The office was very clean. Staff were very friendly and professional. They explained everything before doing it, which was very important to me, and it helped me to feel more relaxed.
I had a tooth chip while on vacation. It wasn’t painful, so I decided to wait till I could get back to Riccobene and Associates. Everyone there is so helpful. I got an appointment right away and got the issue taken care of quickly. The Dr. does great work.
My favorite dental office hands down!! Recently moved to the area and the staff has been friendly, welcoming and beyond helpful when it comes my family’s dental needs. The hygienists provides attentive care and sensitivity with the services they provide and the dentists are beyond informative with providing educational support and a relaxed atmosphere. We will continue our care here in great hands.
Always receive great care. Always able to get appointments quickly when necessary. Very attentive and detailed and make sure everything is expertly and carefully done, and always willing to answer questions and explain treatments fully.
I had such a wonderful experience today! As someone who definitely does NOT like to go to the dentist, I will say today was very pleasant. Check in was fast and every person involved in my care was pleasant and efficient. We had an appointment today and the receptionist was chatting with my daughter like they’ve been friends forever, she loved it! Our hygienist was gentle, explained everything she was doing, and was so friendly. My little had x-rays today and the x-ray tech explained every single step to her. The dentist came in and was friendly, quick, and efficient. I highly recommend them!
Dr Morgan is thorough, kind, and the epitome of everything a great dentist should be. We are grateful for her patience and gentle way with both of our children. We won’t be going anywhere else so long as she is here!
I love Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry. I have been with Courtney my hygienist for years now. Since she worked at the Wakefield location. Today's visit was just so amazing. From not being able to go to the dentist in 2020 for covid reasons. Then being afraid to come to the dentist must of 2021 for covid reasons. Needless to say my dental routine was thrown off. Today my appointment needed more time then they anticipated so they wanted to reschedule me. With no luck finding anything close. Courtney decided to stay late today and offered me to come back at 4pm. That was such a great gesture. With my busy work schedule and today being a work holiday for me. That was just amazing. I couldn't Thank her enough. Then the front desk checked me out allowef me to pay then so I wouldn't have to check out after my appointment later. There were no surprises. I came back at 4pm. Didn't wait at all and Courtney took great care of me. I am so grateful for everyone at the Clayton office. Riccobene has been great not only for me but my whole family. We have been to the Wakefield, Knightdale, Falls of Neuse, and Clayton location all great. Thanks guys I really appreciate you all.
Very pleased with the Mebane location. It is very difficult to find a dental clinic willing to deal with the VA, but they do it with grace and a smile. I never have to wait long for my appointment, and the staff is so warm and welcoming. I’m very happy with this office.

Hands down the absolute best I have ever been to. Service from start to finish was amazing. The most professional staff I have ever come across and put me and my needs above all else. I have the biggest fear of dentists from previous experiences at other places. But this will be the one and only dentist I ever go to again!
I highly recommend Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry. We have been going to this office since relocating to the area. We were very pleased to find a dentist's office that was as good as what we were used to. I recently visited for my regular cleaning which included x-rays. Darby was my hygienist. Darby gave me what felt like the most thorough cleaning that I can remember, but she was so precise and gentle that I could have taken a nap but for the need to be awake to spit every once and a while. She even encouraged me to re-start the wearing of my retainer. Great job Darby, my teeth are as bright as ever.

I had an excellent first visit for dentures. Dr. Riccobene went above and beyond to get my imprints correct. My mouth is small and he adjusted the trays. I definitely recommend him and his staff. They were friendly, professional and kind.

Receptionist was welcoming a plus! She knew her stuff concerning insurance. The hygienist was friendly, and when she stepped away, she indicated she would be right back, preparing another patient. The dentist is excellent seen her before, and it’s always genuine. I am a Medical Office Manager, and my experience with Riccobene Dentistry is outstanding. This was an emergency appointment got me right in the same day. Thank you for all you do, it’s noticed!
We’ve had an excellent experience with Riccobene Orthodontics in Selma for my son’s treatment. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, always making us feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. They take the time to explain each step of the treatment and ensure my son’s braces are adjusted correctly. The office is welcoming and efficient, and we always feel like a priority. I’m so grateful for the care my son has received, and we’re excited to see his progress!

I’ve been coming here for years now (about 5) and have had great experience each time. Very pleasant front desk, dental assistants, and dentist (and anyone else I missed) have all been wonderful. They also don’t seem to recommend work that doesn’t need to be done, but only what is needed. I drive here from Gastonia just to keep coming here!
The team at Wake Forest Riccobene has been very welcoming to me and my family of 5. The doctor is professional, caring, thoughtful, and has a good sense of humor. His assistants explain everything so well. We have seen both hygienists and even some temps when they were out on vacation, and had nothing but a pleasant experience. The office is very cozy; it's not a huge office, which I like. Don't hesitate to give them a try!!!

What a wonderful experience from the minute I walked in the door at Riccobene and Associates in Leland. I had been trying to get a dental problem taken care of for a year at another office, and things were worse than when I started. I decided to stop at the Leland office, and it was like day and night from the minute I walked in, the ladies up front were genuinely nice and helpful!
I've had a wisdom tooth extraction and a root canal done here, and they were both as painless as possible. I've got more procedures coming up and I am significantly less anxious than I was before.

I loved them and was worried about starting over at a new location. Today was my first experience in Clayto,n which was terrific. Loved my hygienist and the doctor. The entire staff was awesome. Dr. Bassham did a great job figuring out the right course of action for correcting my child’s teeth. He was beginning to not smile because of teasing at school and she took our concerns very seriously and came up with a great plan. She showed him patience and kindness even when he kept breaking the braces 😬 Treatment took longer because of that but we finally got there and he now has a bright, beautiful smile. He is extremely happy with the end result and so are we. Dr. Bassham was great to work with.
This is my very first time visiting the Dentist in some years. I mean, it's been 20 years. But the Dentist here made me feel really safe; they explained everything step by step. I am so thankful for finding a Dentist that have a friendly staff and is very understanding and patient. They discuss what is going on with you and how they can help you. I've told all of my people about them. Like I said, incredible Staff, incredible Dentist, you really have to check them out.
Just had a wisdom tooth removal with these guys and what a great experience! Professional, attentive, and great bedside manners. The process was easy and the doctor talked to me throughout the entire time. I felt comfortable and safe. Super happy with my experience overall and wouldn’t dare go anywhere other than here for my future removals/oral needs.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Papio and her incredible team! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for by everyone in the office. Dr. Papio’s expertise with Invisalign was clear from the start, and I couldn’t be happier with my results – my smile has never looked better!

I always have a good experience at the Garner Riccobene office. The check-in is always quick and the staff is friendly and efficient. The dentists and hygienists are thorough and don’t try to “upsell” you on unnecessary work. Including X-rays, I was in and out in 30 minutes for my last six month checkup. Checking out is just as quick and efficient. Five star service.
Best Cleaning I’ve had in a long time!!! My hygienist was very thorough, and you can tell she took pride in what she did and how her work was. My teeth felt amazing after and still do. I had a very enjoyable time at my appointment. I also came to them for a previous filling that had cracked, and now I had a hole in my tooth. The dentist was amazing! The office was able to schedule me sooner than later. I also couldn’t have asked for a better Dentist! He was knowledgeable, and you can tell he was a perfectionist who took pride in great work. I was in good hands. My tooth feels amazing and is back to being normal. I won’t be seeing anyone else. Great staff, very helpful, polite, and professional. Thank you so much to everyone there!
I had a fantastic experience at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Apex, NC! This is my favorite dentist's office. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. My dental cleaning was thorough yet gentle, and the hygienist was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured I was comfortable the entire time.
Just had my first visit to Riccobene Associates in Wake Forest, and they went above and beyond in my opinion. I had scheduled a cleaning, and the dental hygienist was thorough in her examination and, as a new patient, thankfully asked how long ago I enrolled in my dental insurance before she performed the cleaning. When I said we switched dental insurance 5 months ago, she double-checked with the office manager on my insurance coverage. The office manager was caring and polite, and informed me that my insurance would not cover a cleaning until after the first six months of coverage. She let me schedule a cleaning for one month later instead. This shows me that they care about not just their patients' dental health but also saving them money when they can. I, for one, really appreciated that. I will be back.
I had to go to the dentist to get some teeth removed. I was very nervous, but they were very accommodating and helped me relax. Everybody was great. The doctor was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

Went in for extreme pain in my jaw and got tested super quickly and the Doctor did an awesome job of keeping me calm! Also his assistant was absolutely incredible! Loved the whole experience and I'm usually terrified of the dentist!
I was referred to Riccobene Denistry by a friend, and they were Awesome. I was going on vacation soon and needed to get in quickly ( I had just moved here and didn’t have a dentist yet). I called and got an appointment in a day. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and provided several recommendations for my care. I will be going back for treatment, and I highly recommend them.
Dr Papio and her team are exceptional. I came to their office with an unfinished Invisalign treatment. The difference in care with an orthodontist vs general dentist is obvious. My teeth are now moving the way they need to, each visit dramatically improved. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Wilmington area.

Very happy with the performance of my hygienist. She found the problem with my gums and has taken care of it. Of course, I will have to continue treatment, but thankfully, she is taking care of me.

We have had many dentists for our kids, some better than others. We are so happy to have found this practice as every single person we have been treated by has been amazing with kids and outstanding to work with as a parent! No unreasonable wait times or billing shenanigans. We have a wide range of ages and all have done well here.

I took my daughter here today after dealing with another pediatric dentist who was unable to treat my daughter due to her high anxiety, and WOW, it was a difference of night and day. They are amazing. They were so good with my daughter that they were able to build rapport and make her feel relaxed. I am so happy and wish I had taken my kids here before. I highly recommend this pediatric dentistry for their professionalism and the care they provide.
A great dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning, but mentioned a small concern. The hygienist thoroughly investigated, and we ended up with a dentist consultation, discovering a slightly cracked tooth. Really happy with my treatment.
