Every aspect of my experience with Riccobene Garner has exceeded my expectations. I was in really bad shape when I started with them, but they fixed all my problems with sedation dentistry.
What a wonderful experience from the minute I walked in the door at Riccobene and Associates in Leland. I had been trying to get a dental problem taken care of for a year at another office, and things were worse than when I started. I decided to stop at the Leland office, and it was like day and night from the minute I walked in, the ladies up front were genuinely nice and helpful!
I’ve received outstanding care from Riccobene Associates! The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The dentists are honest and take the time to explain every step of your treatment, never pushing unnecessary procedures. It’s refreshing to find a dental office that genuinely cares about their patients and provides such high-quality, trustworthy care. Highly recommend!
This was my first visit to Riccobene Dentistry, and they did not disappoint! I needed to find a new dentist in the NETWORK due to retirement and chose them by reading their stellar reviews. My hygienist was the most efficient dental hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth with no unpleasantness. I really liked my dentist, who was also very pleasant and informative. I had a dental issue while traveling, I call them on a Monday morning and was able to be seen that afternoon. Everyone was great and understanding of my needs. My son Bryce has been a patient with Brush and Floss Orthodontics for almost 4 months now & we absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will definitely recommend Dr. Bassham and staff to friends and family in the Cary area for their braces!
A cracked tooth with its jagged edges took me to the University Executive Park Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry office. They were able to fit me in the same day, and I received the most excellent care! Smooth tooth filled and completed with no pain, I am so grateful to the dentists who made my visit as quick and comfortable as possible!! Even the office manager was very attentive and helpful! I contacted Riccobene Family Dentistry Sept 4, 2025, regarding a toothache I was experiencing. They were very accommodating and scheduled me for an appointment the very next day, which I truly appreciated. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable right away. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long before being seen.
When I tell you this office is the best in the area, I am not exaggerating. My family and I just transferred here in the spring due to the lack of standard care at another facility, and Riccobene has far exceeded our expectations. Kind staff, check. Convenient location, check. Efficient and high level of care during the procedure, double check. If you’re tired of waiting months to get into your dentist's office only to forget you scheduled 6 months down the road, then you really need to do yourself a favor and give this office a call.
I took my daughter here today after dealing with another pediatric dentist who was unable to treat my daughter due to her high anxiety, and WOW, it was a difference of night and day. They are amazing. They were so good with my daughter that they were able to build rapport and make her feel relaxed. I am so happy and wish I had taken my kids here before. I highly recommend this pediatric dentistry for their professionalism and the care they provide.
Today was my first visit here and I absolutely love them! Everyone from the front desk person, hygienist and Dentist are extremely friendly and kind. Jamie was my hygienist and she was amazing. She explained everything she was doing and talked me there every step. She made me feel so comfortable. This will definitely be my new dental office.

My experience with Riccobene Associates for a basic routine first-time dental appointment (new patient) was the best I have ever experienced. Mindy was very polite and explained in detail everything about the procedures. X-rays were of the state-of-the-art technology, and the cleaning was absolutely pristine and checked by the Dentist himself…
I always have a good experience at the Garner Riccobene office. The check-in is always quick and the staff is friendly and efficient. The dentists and hygienists are thorough and don’t try to “upsell” you on unnecessary work. Including X-rays, I was in and out in 30 minutes for my last six month checkup. Checking out is just as quick and efficient. Five star service.
I had an excellent first visit for dentures. Dr. Riccobene went above and beyond to get my imprints correct. My mouth is small and he adjusted the trays. I definitely recommend him and his staff. They were friendly, professional and kind.
Completely impressed and Thankful! Yesterday afternoon, my crown fell out.I recently moved to a new state and hadn’t selected a dental office. I called Riccobene in a panic. They were able to get me in this morning! They were all very nice and easy to work with. The doctor was professional, friendly, and able to reset my crown. I am completely thrilled! Thank you!
The front desk staff was efficient, gracious, and greeted me by name and eye contact. I found that all staff members were the same as above. They continuously asked if I was comfortable and asked if the procedures were causing pain. This was a great experience for me as I am “dentist phobic”.
While doctor's visits are not at the top of my list of favorite things, both the staff, dental hygienists, and dentist at this office are wonderful. I had an insurance mess up, and they worked with me to do what they could on their end to check daily, reschedule appointments, and check in with me for status updates. In what was a frustrating situation that was completely out of my hands, they made me feel like they would work with me to find a resolution.
My 15yo had his wisdom teeth removed here. Not only did I save money, my son loved everyone who helped us. He was nervous about the shots, but didn't even feel them! His mouth barely hurt afterward & that says a lot about the care he got during the procedure. When a 15yo doesn't complain you know he actually was doing ok. He liked them so much he wants to use them as his regular dentist. Thank you for taking such good care of my kid.
Going to the dentist can be like going to get an oil change-you go in expecting to get one thing and then they try to upsell you on several other things that you never asked for. After a previous experience with an apparent dollar-focused dental clinic, I was relieved to find in Riccobene an honest, straightforward practice. So here's a quick snapshot of my Riccobene experience. Customer service: Top tier! Ms. Nikki, the office manager, is amazing. She was awesome with handling the transfer of my case. Ms. Aury at the front desk is very warm and welcoming. Dr. Farhan was knowledgeable and polite. Mr. Chris, the dental hygienist, was extremely thorough in my cleaning. Scheduling: On point! Whereas many other offices had a waiting period of up to two months, I was able to get in within a week of calling. Environment: Very elegant decor with the latest cutting-edge technology. Services: Chef's kiss! My deep cleaning left me feeling like a new person. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and am happy to have found my new dental home.
5/5 stars. This was my first time to the dentist in years, So naturally I was nervous; however, the staff was so friendly and well coordinated I felt so comfortable immediately. I can tell they enjoy working there and as someone who has anxiety about every little detail they put my mind at ease.

I am new to NC and found this Dentist researching my insurance and patient reviews. I just had my first visit today and I was very impressed. Everyone was on time and very helpful. They are very up to date on their equipment, even showing off some stuff I had never seen before! My hygienist [...] was great! Very friendly and efficient. I believe I made the right choice for my new dentist!
As someone with severe dental anxiety, I have never felt more comfortable at a dental office. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and compassionate. Everyone took their time to explain what they were going to do, what they recommended going forward and gave me time to ask questions.

A great dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning, but mentioned a small concern. The hygienist thoroughly investigated, and we ended up with a dentist consultation, discovering a slightly cracked tooth. Really happy with my treatment.

We have had many dentists for our kids, some better than others. We are so happy to have found this practice as every single person we have been treated by has been amazing with kids and outstanding to work with as a parent! No unreasonable wait times or billing shenanigans. We have a wide range of ages and all have done well here.
This staff is beyond patient and understanding. The dentist(s) at this location provide detailed, honest answers about care, hygiene. Very thorough anesthesia process; I was their last appointment, and the staff and dentist kept high energy and were mindful of all my concerns about the procedure.

First visit was awesome. Nikki and staff makes check in process smooth and very comfortable. They are the sweetest. Any questions ask and you will get a response with a nice attitude. Brenda the dental hygienist was very nice and sweet. Dr. Farhan also is a nice and sweet. They make a dentist visit more relaxing. If I can give 10 stars I will.
This visit was to start a crown procedure. The visit was punctual and completed very efficiently. The front desk, dental assistant, and dentist were all friendly and professional, making the visit very comfortable. Very happy with the temporary and looking forward to having the permanent crown installed in a couple of weeks.
Always a pleasant experience! Dr. Alston is very nice and seems very knowledgeable. I trust brush and floss orthodontics with my son's care. The office is always clean and all the dental assistance and front desk staff are polite and friendly. Everything always operates in a timely manner and we're never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be called to the back. The staff is very accommodating with any requests we have with scheduling appointments or any care related questions. Would certainly recommend.
The staff at Riccobene are excellent! Quiana is an AMAZING dental tech. It was the best cleaning experience I ever had! I especially liked the extra care she took to clean around my bottom front teeth permanent retainer. NO ONE has ever used the tech scaling she used. I had been awake all night the night before with a toothache, and I called in this morning to see if I could get an appointment, and they took me in. The doctor looked at it and determined it needed to be extracted. She was pleasant and had it out before I knew it. Everyone was so nice.

A great start towards my new smile 😁😁😁. I had another amazing experience yesterday on the 24th January. I was scheduled for one tooth extraction, but it was so pleasant and the Dentist technic was so enjoyable, to include his bedside manner along with his technician. I asked Dr Farhan if I could just have my other tooth that needed pulling. Pulled right now. So the procedure again was successful and a joy. No problems what so ever. They got a special kind of skill going on with the entire team at RiccoBene Associates. Thank again for a wonderful experience.
My grandson has sensory issues, but is very comfortable with the providers at this office. They are great and keep up with my teenagers. I think it's a great office for families.
Wonderful experience. I had not been to a dentist in a long time and was very anxious about going today. The dentist & staff were just so genuinely caring. The dentist took a great deal of time with me, explaining possible treatment plans. I felt so much better! Would highly recommend!!
This was my first visit… from the receptionist who was lovely to the X-ray technician another enjoyable person to the doctor, who listened to me to the hygienist, again was lovely. I felt very comfortable and welcomed to this grand group.

My son has had several appointments with the orthodontist. Everyone from the front office staff to our dental hygienist worked so great with him. He’s 14 with sensory issues, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well he works with them. We have a long road ahead in the ortho department, but I know he’s in the right place, and his lower jaw is starting to position forward immediately. He’s even using a water pick for the first time. Thanks again to all of the staff at Ricobene MJ for making this a wonderful experience this far!

After my treatment, I was given a fresh, warm handcloth to clean my face with. This is the first dentist's office I have ever visited that did that. They are first class all the way!!! What can I say?… The staff from the greeting to leaving were amazing. The facility is clean and well kept but most importantly the people are kind, knowledgeable, and funny. The service was excellent. Happy to be seen there.
Very happy with the performance of my hygienist. She found the problem with my gums and has taken care of it. Of course, I will have to continue treatment, but thankfully, she is taking care of me.
This branch welcomes you so that you feel like family. The ladies are phenomenal. My hygienist was very thorough and explained how to improve my flossing technique.

I scheduled a cleaning at 8 am on each of my last 2 birthdays. The whole staff came in, sang happy birthday, presented me with a card and a cookie with a candle in it. Great way to start my birthday!

[...] My son did great and actually enjoyed the visit?! The dentist was very helpful and reassuring about dental work to be done and how to go about it. I can't praise this practice and it's employees enough! If your child is hesitant or even fearful, I definitely recommend Riccobene & this location!

From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. We always have a positive experience at Riccobene Dentistry. Today we were seen by Dr Patel the orthodontist, she was extremely kind and patient with us. Cearena the treatment coordinator was simply excellent. She worked with us despite the tightness of the schedule (we showed up a little late), she patiently explained our options and she had a huge hug for me and my daughter when we seemed a little overwhelmed. I highly recommend this practice. They are definitely all about helping their patients.

I had the best experience here. I needed a root canal done and was having some pretty severe pain, and they got me in faster than any other dentist or endodontist in the area... I have pretty severe panic disorder, and they were so supportive and sensitive through the whole process. They were very encouraging and held my hand when I needed it. I would definitely recommend them.
Great place. Dr. Smigiel pulled 2 teeth and didn’t feel a thing. Made a temporary bridge that looks great. Aimee is the greatest dental assistant. Returned to get fitted for a bridge. Wore the temp bridge for 4 weeks. The permanent bridge was put in yesterday. It looks and feels great. Dr. Smigiel did a great job.
Very impressed with the entire experience. I’ve been a patient with Riccobene for a couple of years, but was going to their Porters Neck location. I loved them and was worried about starting over at a new location. Today was my first experience in Clayto,n which was terrific. Loved my hygienist and the doctor. The entire staff was awesome. Such an amazing job. Although I was so nervous before coming in and while sitting in the chair getting prepared, the dentist made sure to make me feel very comfortable and at ease. They made my smile brand new better than ever, and it honestly looks better than it looked before.

The practice is great… The workers in there are great, you know, everybody is so nice and so helpful. I love it there, and I love the way the DENTIST talks to you while he’s doing what he’s doing because it helps to let you know what’s going on.

Best Cleaning I’ve had in a long time!!! My hygienist was very thorough, and you can tell she took pride in what she did and how her work was. My teeth felt amazing after and still do. I had a very enjoyable time at my appointment. I also came to them for a previous filling that had cracked, and now I had a hole in my tooth. The dentist was amazing! The office was able to schedule me sooner than later. I also couldn’t have asked for a better Dentist! He was knowledgeable, and you can tell he was a perfectionist who took pride in great work. I was in good hands. My tooth feels amazing and is back to being normal. I won’t be seeing anyone else. Great staff, very helpful, polite, and professional. Thank you so much to everyone there!
Just had my first visit to Riccobene Associates in Wake Forest, and they went above and beyond in my opinion. I had scheduled a cleaning, and the dental hygienist was thorough in her examination and, as a new patient, thankfully asked how long ago I enrolled in my dental insurance before she performed the cleaning. When I said we switched dental insurance 5 months ago, she double-checked with the office manager on my insurance coverage. The office manager was caring and polite, and informed me that my insurance would not cover a cleaning until after the first six months of coverage. She let me schedule a cleaning for one month later instead. This shows me that they care about not just their patients' dental health but also saving them money when they can. I, for one, really appreciated that. I will be back.
My total experience was exceptional. My oral examination was precise, and my discussion with the staff was clear with respect to the areas I needed to pay attention to after my visit. I spoke with people who were familiar with me and who genuinely care for my well-being.

Dr. Bassham and Sheletta have done fabulous work with my orthodontic Invisalign care. I have recently completed my treatment and now have perfectly straight teeth thanks to their efforts and training. They welcomed questions and always guided the treatment to my best personal outcome. If you are looking for a dentist that will take time to learn and hear you, and not see you as just a number, then go see them.
From check-in, to my actual appointment time with my dental hygienist, my experience was amazing! I not only felt heard by my hygienist, but I felt safe and appreciated. She took her time to explain my dental history, as well as the procedure that would take place, while answering all of my questions with patience. She made sure that I was okay, during the procedure, while letting me know that I was okay. I left with gratitude. Thanks so much!

First off nikki at the front desk is amazing she is the sweetest cutest soul. The hygenist i believe her name was elaina took her time and was gentle which i love with having senitive teeth. The dentist himself does not push anything on you which i truly appreciate. Im happy I gave them a shot considering this was my very first dentist experience in columbia.There is also another girl who works there and i apologize im not great with names,but she is a jack of all trades and deserves a mention as well! great staff!
The Monkey Junction Riccobene location is awesome!! I’ve been to other locations and did not like them as much as this one… Super friendly and informative! My insurance didn’t cover two recommendations for teeth grinding, and they provided me with options with pricing. Just overall a 10/10 experience!
Staff is friendly and educated my son well on taking care of his braces and now retainer. Orthodontist friendly. Smiling. My son loved her. My son hated to smile because of his front tooth not wanting to come in. Once braces was placed on and his tooth was coming in. My son started smiling more. Now he just smiles and dont hide it. If my son ever needs orthodontist work again, this will be the place. Thank you.
Both my dental hygienist and the doctor did an amazing job. They were very friendly, and you could tell that they genuinely cared about you. Plus, I love the clean and modern new facility.
