The dental assistant was very thorough and great at her job. I have been going to Riccobene for several years now and have always been satisfied.
Went in for extreme pain in my jaw and got tested super quickly and the Doctor did an awesome job of keeping me calm! Also his assistant was absolutely incredible! Loved the whole experience and I'm usually terrified of the dentist!
I brought my mom, who has Alzheimer's, to them when we moved her here. They have been so patient and kind and gentle with her. They have done everything they can to help her feel comfortable, safe and heard. They have answered her questions, sometimes the same ones over and over. I just really appreciate the effort because I know it's tough. I am so grateful for their care and support!
When I tell you I've NEVER had a better team of dentistry people I mean it! I can't stop telling people everywhere how compassionate Dr Farhan and his assistant Que were. I'm 62 and still have anxiety at the dentist. But they really did a great job in explaining everything. Also the front desk, Ms Nikki is marvelous! she helped me with everything! This is a Family of people who are Ginuwine. Kudos again🙌🏽💯🥰
Great service, very friendly and understanding. No judgment at all. They even take kids, that's my next step is get my kids scheduled when I go back tomorrow. Awesome place
We always have a positive experience at Riccobene Dentistry. Today we were seen by Dr Patel the orthodontist, she was extremely kind and patient with us. Cearena the treatment coordinator was simply excellent. She worked with us despite the tightness of the schedule (we showed up a little late), she patiently explained our options and she had a huge hug for me and my daughter when we seemed a little overwhelmed. I highly recommend this practice. They are definitely all about helping their patients.
We have had many dentists for our kids, some better than others. We are so happy to have found this practice as every single person we have been treated by has been amazing with kids and outstanding to work with as a parent! No unreasonable wait times or billing shenanigans. We have a wide range of ages and all have done well here.
I am pleased with the dental care that I receive at Riccobene, because of my pleasant visits, I look forward to dental care.

Normally, I don’t do too many of these, but to the ladies that helped my daughter Raina today…you truly are amazing. This is never an easy day for parents with a special needs children who are terrified of the dentist for no reason. We appreciate you more than you know.
Hands down the absolute best I have ever been to. Service from start to finish was amazing. The most professional staff I have ever come across and put me and my needs above all else. I have the biggest fear of dentists from previous experiences at other places. But this will be the one and only dentist I ever go to again!
My visit was the best dentist I have ever had. I felt VERY taken care of. All associates of the dentist's office were kind and very attentive. It showed me how I HAVE NOT been taken care of by past dentists. I have told my whole family about Riccobene!!!
I visited this dental clinic for the first time today, and was thoroughly impressed with the staff. My dentist, as well as her assistant, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. This was my first visit to Riccobene Dentistry, and they did not disappoint! I needed to find a new dentist in the NETWORK due to retirement and chose them by reading their stellar reviews. My hygienist was the most efficient dental hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth with no unpleasantness. I really liked my dentist, who was also very pleasant and informative. I had such a wonderful experience today! As someone who definitely does NOT like to go to the dentist, I will say today was very pleasant. Check in was fast and every person involved in my care was pleasant and efficient. This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had going to the dentist! The staff was incredible - Emily could not have been kinder and more helpful during my booking and check-in - and Carin - my hygienist was exceptional! She was thorough, friendly, and put every bit of my anxiety to rest. Dr. Adam Smigiel (and Stella of course!) made the whole experience a joy and I left feeling amazed and grateful to find my new dentist!
The staff is so friendly! From the front desk to the hygienist and dentist, I felt very welcomed. Had my first visit recently, and always a nice bonus when that included a cleaning and not just exam/xrays. Looking forward to my next cleaning!
Such a great experience! My hygienist made me feel so comfortable and did a very thorough cleaning of my teeth. The doctor was awesome! He provided me with all the information I needed to understand my dental health! I really love the atmosphere of the office. Everyone was so pleasant and uplifting, and it was refreshing coming from a not-so-great dental office. I really appreciate the staff at Riccobene, and this will certainly be my new dentist location!

I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to be seen as a new patient. However, they didn’t have anything available for six weeks out. But the receptionist called me back within an hour and said they had an available appointment for Thursday, which was great. Today, I would say the visit went well, and no judgment from the staff; everyone was very friendly and respectful…I can’t wait to get my treatment plan started. The hygienist and the assistant were very professional and never passed judgment.
We’ve had an excellent experience with Riccobene Orthodontics in Selma for my son’s treatment. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, always making us feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. They take the time to explain each step of the treatment and ensure my son’s braces are adjusted correctly. The office is welcoming and efficient, and we always feel like a priority. I’m so grateful for the care my son has received, and we’re excited to see his progress!

Had a great first experience. Extremely transparent with pricing, very clear explanation for each step of the visit, and a relaxed but professional vibe. They were also very considerate in how best to make the most of my insurance for my needs. I would strongly recommend this location to anyone looking for a dentist!

My mom has early-stage dementia, so there’s an internal anxiety associated with doctors' offices. The Riccobene staff was exceptional in comforting my mom throughout her dental procedure. Special thanks to the assistant who provided Mom a blanket, chapstick, and assistance to the restroom. I am her caretaker, but it’s nice to have others who care as well. Thank you all!
I took my very elderly mother, who has Alzheimer's, to Riccobene. She had a loose tooth, and I also wanted to get a general assessment of her dental well-being. The dentists were AMAZING, in spite of the MANY challenges she presented. I am so appreciative of their excellent care and good advice for us moving forward. First visit was awesome. Nikki and staff makes check in process smooth and very comfortable. They are the sweetest. Any questions ask and you will get a response with a nice attitude. Brenda the dental hygienist was very nice and sweet. Dr. Farhan also is a nice and sweet. They make a dentist visit more relaxing. If I can give 10 stars I will.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are very nice and take their time with you. My daughter had a bad experience at her previous dentist, and when I explained that to them. They were very understanding and very gentle. I appreciate them and highly recommend this office.

After some bad experiences led to a severe phobia of the dentist, I avoided going for years. When I finally came back, Riccobene did a great job of helping me get caught up on my dental care and offered sedation that made returning much easier. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and can no longer receive most types of dental sedation (especially nitrous), but Riccobene's hygienists are so gentle and patient that I've been able to keep up with my regular cleanings without any undue fear or discomfort. I really appreciate how much they've helped me get back on top of my dental health.

A great start towards my new smile 😁😁😁. I had another amazing experience yesterday on the 24th January. I was scheduled for one tooth extraction, but it was so pleasant and the Dentist technic was so enjoyable, to include his bedside manner along with his technician. I asked Dr Farhan if I could just have my other tooth that needed pulling. Pulled right now. So the procedure again was successful and a joy. No problems what so ever. They got a special kind of skill going on with the entire team at RiccoBene Associates. Thank again for a wonderful experience.
While doctor's visits are not at the top of my list of favorite things, both the staff, dental hygienists, and dentist at this office are wonderful. I had an insurance mess up, and they worked with me to do what they could on their end to check daily, reschedule appointments, and check in with me for status updates. In what was a frustrating situation that was completely out of my hands, they made me feel like they would work with me to find a resolution.
Going to the dentist can be like going to get an oil change-you go in expecting to get one thing and then they try to upsell you on several other things that you never asked for. After a previous experience with an apparent dollar-focused dental clinic, I was relieved to find in Riccobene an honest, straightforward practice. So here's a quick snapshot of my Riccobene experience. Customer service: Top tier! Ms. Nikki, the office manager, is amazing. She was awesome with handling the transfer of my case. Ms. Aury at the front desk is very warm and welcoming. Dr. Farhan was knowledgeable and polite. Mr. Chris, the dental hygienist, was extremely thorough in my cleaning. Scheduling: On point! Whereas many other offices had a waiting period of up to two months, I was able to get in within a week of calling. Environment: Very elegant decor with the latest cutting-edge technology. Services: Chef's kiss! My deep cleaning left me feeling like a new person. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and am happy to have found my new dental home.
Every aspect of my experience with Riccobene Garner has exceeded my expectations. I was in really bad shape when I started with them, but they fixed all my problems with sedation dentistry.

My kids and I have been going to Riccobene ever since we moved here in 2018. We've always been well taken care of. Everyone has been personable and understanding when I have to bring our baby to my appointments. The dental hygienists have always done an awesome job with each of us. The dentist is also thorough with his exam at the end. My kids love going to the dentist. Probably because they know they'll get little toys at the end for being helpful during the appointments.
My hygienist is amazing! Great energy, very gentle. She listens to your sensitivities and never causes pain. Bedside manner on point! She is such a lovely person. I request her every time because I went from anxiety-ridden tension to relaxed and comfortable with her. She is healing my trauma with dentistry. Such a pleasant experience every time. This beautiful soul needs a raise for sure. She goes above and beyond.
First off, I am a little nervous going to the dentist but was right away put at ease by Ms. Aury at the front desk. Such a pleasure to check in with and talk to. Wait time was very short, about 5 minutes and Ms. Giselle called me back. Never experienced a first appointment as pleasant as this. Professional but not overly so, provided the human part of the evaluation too. She totally eased all of my apprehension. Then Dr. Farhan did his exam. He listened to my concerns then explained everything to me and suggested a plan of attack. This was the best first appointment experience at a dentist I have ever had. Think I have found my permanent dentist… Wish I could give the whole office ten stars

Going to the dentist is something I never look forward to, to be honest, but I must say I had an exceptional experience here. Everyone made me feel so comfortable, so welcoming. Everything was Amazing before I walked in. I was kind of nervous, but once I got in from the front desk to the dental assistant, she was soo nice and very knowledgeable!! made me feel really comfortable, which was greatly appreciated, thank you. Such an amazing job. Although I was so nervous before coming in and while sitting in the chair getting prepared, the dentist made sure to make me feel very comfortable and at ease. They made my smile brand new better than ever, and it honestly looks better than it looked before.
Today was the first visit for my parents, and the service of the entire staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with my parents, making for a pleasant experience for them both. I’m glad that we chose this practice for their dental health needs.
My grandson has sensory issues, but is very comfortable with the providers at this office. They are great and keep up with my teenagers. I think it's a great office for families.
Riccobene Associates was an awesome New Patient experience for me. The entire staff was friendly and professional, and they made me feel as though I had been visiting their office all along. After my treatment, I was given a fresh, warm handcloth to clean my face with. This is the first dentist's office I have ever visited that did that. They are first class all the way!!! The staff at the University location is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease from the moment I walk in. Everyone in the office, from the front desk to the hygienists, is genuinely caring and attentive. I truly appreciate them for making my children feel comfortable and at ease during their first visit.
5/5 stars. This was my first time to the dentist in years, So naturally I was nervous; however, the staff was so friendly and well coordinated I felt so comfortable immediately. I can tell they enjoy working there and as someone who has anxiety about every little detail they put my mind at ease.

I called for an appointment on Tuesday because I had a toothache coming on. I got an appointment for Thursday. Very fast, in my opinion. Got a full checkup and cleaning. Everyone was very nice. I felt like a VIP. Thank you.
Recently moved to Raleigh, needed a dentist, and Riccobene was recommended. My husband needs a lot of work, so we had to find a proficient practitioner. Well, we found it! From our first appointments, the staff made us feel welcome and totally at ease. Every step is gone over ,and the staff makes sure you understand. They are extremely conscientious regarding cost and insurance. I want to give an A+ to the entire staff, from the doctors to the front desk. I don’t want to do individual shoutouts because I don’t want to leave anyone out! It’s a fabulous team and we highly recommend it !
I always have a good experience at the Garner Riccobene office. The check-in is always quick and the staff is friendly and efficient. The dentists and hygienists are thorough and don’t try to “upsell” you on unnecessary work. Including X-rays, I was in and out in 30 minutes for my last six month checkup. Checking out is just as quick and efficient. Five star service.
I went in for a deep cleaning and fillings with sedation, and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had at a dentist. The staff was incredibly kind, reassuring me every step of the way and making sure I understood what to expect after the sedation. The entire process was quick and easy. If you have dental anxiety, this is definitely the place to go! 10/10 experience.
I just had the best dentist experience! I went for my teeth cleaning and exam with w/X-rays, and everyone who worked there was so nice and friendly. The front desk woman, the hygienist assistant, the hygienist, and the Dentist were absolutely amazing!! Going to the dentist usually isn’t a good experience for me, but this time it was, and I felt so comfortable throughout the whole thing. I highly recommend and will 100% be coming back!
After years of ducking the dentist I finally decided to go, I was nervous because who knows what they are going to tell me and that sharp hook tool makes me uneasy lol. The staff was so warm and inviting and the dental assistant really helped me relax and not worry. Fast forward to 6 months after my first visit my gums are healthy and teeth looking better than ever. Best dentist office ever!!!
My dental hygienist made me feel comfortable the entire time she cleaned my teeth! She also engaged in conversation, which really calmed me down. She answered all of my questions during my visit and even got me scheduled quickly to get my cavity filled. The front desk staff is also very nice and attentive!

Dr Papio and her team are exceptional. I came to their office with an unfinished Invisalign treatment. The difference in care with an orthodontist vs general dentist is obvious. My teeth are now moving the way they need to, each visit dramatically improved. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Wilmington area.
I scheduled a cleaning at 8 am on each of my last 2 birthdays. The whole staff came in, sang happy birthday, presented me with a card and a cookie with a candle in it. Great way to start my birthday!
The entire facility was very organized and clean. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. My cleaning and examination was the most thorough I have ever had. My follow-up care has been second to none. This has been an excellent choice for dental care; thank you all very much!
Today was my first visit to this dentist. It was a wonderful experience. I get very anxious when I go to the dentist but the staff there made me feel comfortable. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very gentle. The office was very clean. Staff were very friendly and professional. They explained everything before doing it, which was very important to me, and it helped me to feel more relaxed.
This was my first visit… from the receptionist who was lovely to the X-ray technician another enjoyable person to the doctor, who listened to me to the hygienist, again was lovely. I felt very comfortable and welcomed to this grand group.

Nikki was absolutely the best she was patient and kind and went out of her way to help with my first visit and a crown that came off this am. Dr Farhan was the best dentist I’ve ever went to. He explained in detail everything and he suggested a treatment plan and Nikki explained the treatment plan he made for me and I am delighted at this decision. This was my first visit to Riccobene, and I was pleased with my visit. The place is spotless, the staff were accommodating, and my exam was very comprehensive. Afterward, I had no discomfort, and my teeth felt great.
The staff at Riccobene are excellent! Quiana is an AMAZING dental tech. It was the best cleaning experience I ever had! I especially liked the extra care she took to clean around my bottom front teeth permanent retainer. NO ONE has ever used the tech scaling she used. Moreover, she was personable, patient, and professional!! Thank you!!
I love Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry. I have been with Courtney my hygienist for years now. Since she worked at the Wakefield location. Today's visit was just so amazing. From not being able to go to the dentist in 2020 for covid reasons. Then being afraid to come to the dentist must of 2021 for covid reasons. Needless to say my dental routine was thrown off. Today my appointment needed more time then they anticipated so they wanted to reschedule me. With no luck finding anything close. Courtney decided to stay late today and offered me to come back at 4pm. That was such a great gesture. With my busy work schedule and today being a work holiday for me. That was just amazing. I couldn't Thank her enough. Then the front desk checked me out allowef me to pay then so I wouldn't have to check out after my appointment later. There were no surprises. I came back at 4pm. Didn't wait at all and Courtney took great care of me. I am so grateful for everyone at the Clayton office. Riccobene has been great not only for me but my whole family. We have been to the Wakefield, Knightdale, Falls of Neuse, and Clayton location all great. Thanks guys I really appreciate you all.
