Phillip Bald, DDS

DR. PHILLIP BALD is a dedicated dental professional with nearly two decades of experience, known for his compassionate care and patient-first philosophy. Originally from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Dr. Bald graduated from Manteo High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2006.

His passion for dentistry began in high school, working as a dental assistant. Fascinated by the science, technology, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, he knew early on that dentistry was his calling. Since then, Dr. Bald has built a career rooted in honesty, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. He is especially proud of his ability to provide dental care that is not only clinically sound but also empathetic. Having personally experienced a lifetime of dental work, he understands what it’s like to be in the patient’s chair—and always considers that perspective when creating treatment plans.
