James P. Hermann, DMD

James P Hermann DMD is an accomplished orthodontic specialist with a rich history in the field. Born and raised in Boston, he completed his dental education at Boston University, where he discovered his passion for orthodontics. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Hermann practiced in Rochester, NY, for 30 years before relocating to the Raleigh area in 2014.

For nearly a decade, Dr. Hermann honed his skills at another practice before finding his home here. He brings a wealth of expertise in various orthodontic procedures, including aligner therapy, ceramic braces, and self-ligating braces. His true joy lies in taking on challenging cases, where he can profoundly impact his patients' lives.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hermann is a devoted family man, finding immense joy in spending time with his three grandchildren. A self-proclaimed history buff, he even earned a master's degree in American History a decade ago. His passion for history took him to Bermuda, where he participated in an archaeological dig. Dr. Hermann and his wife also share a love for estate sales, adding a touch of adventure to their weekends.
