Dr. Michael Madsen, hails from the heart of Kansas City, Kansas. He pursued his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University-Idaho before embarking on his journey to become a dental professional at the University of New England School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Madsen's decision to become a dental professional was sparked by a life-changing experience. Invited by a family friend, who happened to be a dentist, he joined a week-long dental service trip to Honduras. During this transformative journey, he had the opportunity to assist several dentists and witness the positive impact of dental care on people's lives. This experience ignited a passion within him for the profession. Driven by the immediate results and the ability to bring smiles to countless faces, he decided to dedicate himself to dentistry.
As a recent graduate from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Madsen brings fresh perspectives and a modern approach to dental care. During his educational journey, he completed a 12-week clinical rotation at the Greater Portland Health clinic for the Homeless in Portland, Maine, where he gained valuable experience in treating diverse patient populations. Dr. Madsen has developed exceptional skills in handling patients with care and compassion. His natural patience has been instrumental in providing successful treatments to children and high-stress individuals. His dedication to learning and growth led him to earn sedation certification, allowing him to ensure the utmost comfort for his patients during dental procedures.
Beyond his profession, Dr. Madsen finds joy and strength in his faith and family. As a devoted member of his church, he also cherishes his role as a husband to his wife Tandy and a father to their son Maverick, who was welcomed into the family in 2022. In his free time, he stays active through exercising, playing sports, and enjoying precious moments at the beach with his loved ones. Dr. Madsen is also an avid sports fan, proudly cheering for his beloved team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
