Dr. Wade Elton
Dr. Wade Elton is a general dentist with a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care built on trust, education, and lasting relationships. He believes dentistry is most rewarding when patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in both their treatment and their care team. His friendly, gentle approach helps people of all ages and backgrounds feel at ease during their appointments.
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Elton earned his bachelor's degree with honors in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. During his dental education, he was recognized by faculty for exemplary technical skill and commitment to clinical excellence.
Dr. Elton regularly pursues advanced continuing education to expand his clinical expertise to ensure his patients benefit from the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. He earned a Surgical Fellowship through Implant Pathways after completing extensive training in implant surgery and restorative implant dentistry. He has a particular interest in comprehensive restorative care, helping patients restore both function and confidence through personalized treatment.
Dr. Elton maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. He also participates in professional study clubs and continuing education programs that foster collaboration and ongoing clinical development.
Beyond the practice, Dr. Elton is dedicated to serving his community. He has volunteered through organizations including Mission of Mercy, Give Kids A Smile, Common Hope, and Union Gospel Mission to provide dental care to underserved individuals and families. These experiences have reinforced his belief that compassion and service are fundamental to the practice of dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Elton enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their soft-coated wheaten terrier, Remi. Together they enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending time at the lake whenever possible.
Whether caring for a long-time patient or welcoming someone new to the practice, Dr. Elton values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide thoughtful, individualized care that supports a lifetime of oral health.
