Ankita Sheth, DMD

Dr. Ankita Sheth was born in Ontario, Canada and grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens before attending dental school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. After receiving her DMD, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she honed her skills in comprehensive care. Over the past three years, Dr. Sheth has practiced general dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia, while continuing to grow both clinically and professionally.

Her passion for dentistry began during her undergraduate years after a career assessment sparked her interest and shadowing confirmed her calling. Dr. Sheth values the unique blend of science, artistry, and compassion that dentistry offers, and she is committed to creating a positive experience for every patient—especially those with dental anxiety. She has a strong interest in extractions and takes pride in providing gentle, high-quality care that improves oral health and overall well-being. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling with her close-knit family, exploring Wilmington with her partner and their cat Luna, trying new recipes, and staying active through running and outdoor activities.
