
Dr. Michelle Holmes brings over 30 years of experience in the dental field and nearly 25 years as a practicing DDS to the Wilmington community, where she has lived and cared for patients for almost 20 years. She is a proud graduate of the University of Texas, where she served as Class President and Vice President of her Academic Fraternity, demonstrating early leadership and a commitment to academic excellence.
Dr. Holmes has advanced training in full-mouth rehabilitation, advanced oral surgery, and the placement of both traditional and mini dental implants. Her professional involvement includes membership in the American Academy of Dentistry, the Academy of Facial Esthetics, the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, and the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry. She also holds a Mastery-Level Certification from the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, reflecting her dedication to comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with sleep-related dental concerns.
Dr. Holmes has a special passion for caring for seasoned citizens, ensuring they enjoy healthy, confident smiles at every stage of life. She is also proud to serve patients in English or Spanish, providing comfortable, accessible care to a diverse community.
Outside the office, Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time with her family—often at Disney, her favorite place to relax and recharge. At home, she shares her life with a lively collection of animals, including dogs, cats, frogs, saltwater aquariums, lizards, and her beloved giant Aldabra tortoise, GusGus.
