Our trained and qualified staff ensure comfort during wisdom tooth removal through the use of sedation or general anesthesia during the surgery itself. In the immediate aftermath of the surgery, pain medication and cold compresses (ice packs) may be used to manage swelling, soreness or pain. This generally abates within 48-72 hours, though it will take somewhat longer for the surgery site to fully heal.

Yes - we offer emergency dental care. We make every effort to see emergency patients same day if our office is open and staffed or next day if you contact us outside of operating hours. If we can’t see you at our Benson location, we have offices throughout the region that may be able to accommodate short notice, after hours, or weekend visits for emergencies.
