Porcelain Veneers

BrushAndFloss Porcelain Veneers

If you feel uncomfortable showing off your smile because your teeth are discolored, small, chipped, or unevenly spaced, porcelain veneers can transform your smile. At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, our custom-made veneers can correct cosmetic tooth imperfections and give you the power to design your new smile.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are thin shells of highly durable porcelain that we bond to the front sides of your teeth. A veneer can restore a single tooth imperfection, and multiple veneers can be placed on your teeth for a complete smile makeover. Porcelain veneers are a great way to achieve a flawless, confident smile!

Permanently Make Over Your Smile

One of the main benefits of veneers is that they’re a permanent solution for obtaining your dream smile. Before we place your veneers, we remove a layer of enamel to ensure that they sit flush with your other teeth and blend in seamlessly. This preparation is vital for making sure your veneers look and feel great for years to come.

The Veneers Process

The veneers process usually takes place in three visits.

  • Your first visit to our office will consist of a consultation, examination, and X-rays. After we examine your smile, we’ll discuss your goals and desired end results.
  • Once we’ve decided that veneers are right for you, you will come in for a second appointment where we’ll shape the teeth the veneers will go on by removing some enamel. Enamel removal helps your veneers properly adhere to the surface of your teeth. We’ll take a mold of your teeth and send it to the lab where they will construct your veneers. While your veneers are in the making, we’ll fit you for temporary veneers until we receive your permanent ones.
  • For your final visit, we will bond your custom-made veneers to your teeth and check the fit. We’ll send you home with a set of guidelines to help you keep your veneers in good condition.

How Much Do Veneers Cost?

The price of veneers depends on the number you’re getting and your overall dental health. During your smile consultation, we’ll design a personalized treatment plan and go over your expected out-of-pocket costs. Our practice offers a variety of financial options and works with you to get a smile you love!

Dental Veneers FAQ

Are veneers painful?

At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, we do our best to make the dental veneer procedure as painless as possible. When we shave your tooth’s enamel to prepare for the porcelain veneer, you may feel a little discomfort. However, the rest of the procedure should be painless due to the local anesthetic we provide.

After the procedure, you may feel that the tooth and gums may be a little sensitive. You can remedy this pain by using over-the-counter medication. We recommend that you take care of your dental veneer by brushing and flossing twice a day to prevent issues in the future. Call our office today so we can address any problems or concerns you may have!

Are dental veneers permanent?

Dental veneers are not considered a permanent solution to misshapen or mis-colored teeth. However, with proper care, they can last many years. At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, we recommend our patients brush and floss their teeth twice daily to ensure that the veneer site stays healthy. Our team will provide you with specific after-care instructions to help you increase the longevity of your new dental veneer!

Are dental veneers expensive?

We understand that everyone’s needs are just as unique as their smile. Some smiles may need more than one veneer, which increases the cost. A member of our team will sit down beforehand to give you a complete cost breakdown and discuss payment options with you. We also offer a Dental Savers Plan to help patients achieve their dream smile at an affordable price. Call us today to learn more!
