Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, Dr. Johnson attended Seminole High School, during which time he held a job at a dental office that brought him great satisfaction, and that is when he decided on his career. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Facility of Dentistry in 2004. He then completed a one-year advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He attends continuing-education events and invests in courses from the ADA and Academy of General Dentistry annually.
After completing his residency, Dr. Johnson established a private practice in St. Petersburg, but in 2013 he decided to move away from the Florida heat. He sold his practice and moved to North Carolina, where he joined the Riccobene Associates team. In 2015 he received the honor of becoming a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr Johnson enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as removable and fixed prosthetics. He is proud to be a part of organized dentistry through the ADA and AGD. In his spare time, he likes to travel, indulge in good food and wine, and ride his motorcycle.
