Rachel L. Beamer, DMD

Dr. Rachel Beamer was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Tech, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation from Virginia Tech, she moved to North Carolina in the summer of 2011. She then attended dental school at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2021 with honors. During her time in dental school, she was involved in multiple research projects, primarily focused on oral lesions and oral pathology. She has a passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery and is a provider of Invisalign clear aligner treatments.

Dr. Beamer grew up around dentistry and fell in love with it from a young age. Her mother was pregnant with her during dental school, and her father was already a practicing dentist. They had set up an operatory as a nursery, so she truly grew up exposed to dentistry. She would help her parents with emergency patients on the weekends when she was in high school and observed the importance of commitment and compassion for patients.

During her time away from work, Dr. Beamer spends her time cooking, traveling, and enjoying outdoor activities with her wonderful husband who she met at Virginia Tech. They are big Hokies fans. They also have three sweet dogs who bring a lot of entertainment to their lives.

Dr. Beamer looks forward to building relationships with her patients and immersing herself in her community. She believes that an important part of being a medical provider is getting to know the community you serve.
