Growing up in Summerton, SC, Dr. Jackson always knew she wanted a career in medicine, so after graduating as valedictorian from Scott’s Branch High School, she majored in pre-medicine at Saint Augustine’s University. It was there that she found her true calling. A professor recommended that she intern at a dental practice, and — despite her childhood dental anxiety — she took the internship.
She knew right away that dentistry was where she belonged, because it allowed her to help people and create beautiful art in teeth at the same time. She went on to graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
Her 12-year dental career has involved her passion, pediatric dentistry, so patient anxiety is a key concern for her. She has a gentle, compassionate, fun style that keeps her patients of all ages relaxed and her teammates smiling. Her passion for people’s well-being extends to her life outside work as well. She volunteers at soup kitchens and food & clothing drives, and she is a member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Jackson has a fantastic husband, Lee; two daughters, Zyah and McClaren; and a Frenchton named Archie. In her spare time, she loves shopping, time with family, and trips to the spa.
