Dr. Meagan Parker is a North Carolina native, growing up in Coats, NC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While at UNC, Dr. Parker became interested in dentistry after shadowing several local dentists and working at a pediatric dental office in Chapel Hill. During her sophomore year of college, she volunteered at an orphanage in the Dominican Republic where she helped provide dental care to the children and citizens of Monte Cristi further reinforcing her passion for dentistry.
Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Parker attended the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Parker completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center where she gained advanced training in esthetic dentistry, implant placement, and oral surgery.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
Dr. Parker strives to form lasting relationships with her patients while providing them with the highest quality of care. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Marley. She also enjoys reading, traveling, cheering on the Tarheels, and spending time on the NC Coast.
