Dr. Matthew Miller was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. He realized the dental field was the right fit for him because it combines his love for science and his desire to help people. Dr. Miller received his undergraduate from Loras College, and then went on to graduate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Miller served 12 years in the Navy, where he completed his general practice residency, exodontia fellowship, and was the dental department head on the USS Fort McHenry. Additionally, he completed three years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training. Currently, Dr. Miller is in the process of achieving Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology, a distinction which roughly only 250 U.S. dentists have achieved.
Dr. Miller takes pride in providing his patients with the best care possible by being gentle and creating a stress free environment. He’s married and has two sons, and when he isn’t working, he likes to go offshore fishing.
