Jil Patel, DDS

Dr. Patel was 10 years old when he and his parents immigrated to the US from Gujarat, India. Though they had very little at first, they were able to build a better life in New Jersey, and later North Carolina. Dr. Patel realized his passion for dentistry when he experienced a dental emergency during his undergraduate years at East Carolina University. The experience made him aware of the lack of oral hygiene education in places like where he grew up.  

Upon graduation with a degree in Biology, Dr. Patel went to work for a dental laboratory in Lenoir, NC before continuing to dental school. He graduated dental school in 2021 from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Chicago. His biggest passions in dentistry are helping patients get out of pain, spending time with patients so that they feel comfortable, and education about oral hygiene care. He takes it upon himself to make sure that every patient he sees gets the high quality of dental care that they need and deserve.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel actively pursues his other passions: spending time with his parents, and spending time in nature – he chose North Carolina for the incredible outdoor activities it has to offer. He also enjoys reading, working out, and living a healthy lifestyle.
