Dr. Lee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After graduating from high school in Korea, he served in the Korean military for 26 month. He moved to the United States to learn English as a second language, and in 2003, he decided to attend Durham Technical Community College in a dental laboratory program. During that time, he fractured his tooth and had an implant and crown placed, and he was fascinated by the procedure. After graduation, he worked at a dental lab in Greensboro for a year, and then earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from North Carolina State University and a DDS degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Lee is affiliated with the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and American Association of General Dentists. He believes in treating all his patients as he would want to be treated himself. His mission in dentistry is to provide the highest quality of dentistry with compassion and care for the patient. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lee enjoys golf, bowling, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Jane, and son, Jaden.
