Amy Lewis, DDS, MPH

Dr. Amy Lewis was born and raised in Logan, West Virginia. As a teenager she experienced a dental trauma. The art of rebuilding her affected tooth really piqued her interest in dentistry and set her on the path to become a dentist. She began her quest by graduating from Shepherd University with a degree in Biology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at West Virginia University School of Dentistry.

Following dental school she served in two community health clinics, where she discovered a passion for serving children. She spent the next three years completing her residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she also earned a Master of Public Health.  

She cherishes the honesty and authenticity of working with children, believing they always have the best stories to tell. Her dedication to ensuring each child enjoys an amazingly positive dental experience is second to none. As a pediatric clinician, she also offers some specialized services including pediatric oral moderate sedation, complete oral rehabilitation under general anesthesia, treatment for patients with special health care needs, and complex dental solutions.

Beyond dentistry, she loves spending time outside riding her bike, gardening, finding fun activities to experience with her children (Annalie and Connor), and traveling!
