At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, we believe being a local dental office is only part of our job. Whether it’s giving back to our local communities or getting involved on an international scale, we’re thrilled to help others. We pride ourselves on being the local dental practice that stays involved in the community.
Charity Outreach
Of course we’re passionate about dental outreach programs, but we would never want to limit our footprint to the dental field. We’ve partnered with a variety of charity programs, including Embrace Uganda and NC Missions of Mercy. If you have outreach programs you’d like to spread the word about, we welcome you to partner with us!
Our Commitment to You
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is bound together with the common goals of providing high-quality dental care and giving back to the wonderful communities we serve. We strive to be a community dentist that actually makes a difference in the lives of others. Whether you’re a regular patient of ours or just a fellow community member, we hope to work together with you to make the Research Triangle a better place.
Work Hard, Play Hard
We jump at any chance to show our appreciation for our team members and have a little bit of fun with them. Some of our most noticeable team bonding events include Spirit Week, Holiday Spirit Week, and Dental Assistants Week. We love to get our patients involved in these events and you will often catch our regulars in a pair of Christmas pajamas for their December appointments!

At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, we are passionate about the communities that we work in. Community involvement is a big part of what we do to help make the Research Triangle a better place to live.
Embrace Uganda
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry has partnered with Embrace Uganda, a Wake Forest-based charity, to deliver dental supplies to orphans in Uganda.

Founded in 2007, Embrace Uganda and its Ugandan partners help provide clean water, education, and healthcare to almost 2,000 orphaned children in Kaihura, Bukerere, and Koreng, Uganda.
“We’re proud to participate in our community’s efforts to help children in need of dental care both here in North Carolina and overseas.”
-Dr. Michael Riccobene, Founder and CEO Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry
In addition to Embrace Uganda, Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry partners with national and local charities including the American Heart Association, Walk for Autism, the Special Olympics, the Shaun Draughn Charity, the Boy Scouts, the Salvation Army, and the Cary Ballet Scholarship.

NC Missions of Mercy

The North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NCMOM) portable dental clinics are an outreach program of the North Carolina Dental Society. The program is sponsored by the North Carolina Dental Health Fund (NCDHF), a 501 (c) (3), charitable organization, founded and governed by the North Carolina Dental Society. The mission of the North Carolina Dental Health Fund is to address the access to care problem facing our state’s most under-served.
NCMOM is a volunteer grassroots effort, and receives funding from grants and donations. Since its beginning in 2003 the program has received national and statewide recognition. The program offers dental treatment to those in financial need who have few or no other options for care. For information about donating to NCMOM, contact the North Carolina Dental Society at (919) 677-1396.
Currently, NCMOM has enough equipment to set up an 80-chair full dental clinic including digital x-ray, sterilization, and all instrumentation and supplies. Services are provided for 300 to 3000 patients, depending on the number of chairs set up, per two-day event. The clinics are staffed by volunteers including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, laboratory technicians and scores of volunteers from across the state. Additionally, the program enjoys a good relationship with the UNC School of Dentistry and ECU School of Dental Medicine through their student volunteer organizations. Dental students participate as volunteer providers during each clinic and are an important part of the overall program.
Dr. Riccobene participated during the two day clinic. Approximately 3,000 patients were served.
