Partials, Bridges, and Dentures
Why do we need them?
Partials, bridges, and dentures are designed to offer patients who have lost all or a portion of their natural teeth, due to decay, disease, or severe injury, leaving them with all or some missing teeth. Depending on your circumstance, the dentist will determine which means of correction is optimal for you. Your smile will be instantly restored, your ability to eat and speak properly is also restored. It will also correct facial drooping due to weak facial muscles.
Bridges are natural looking tooth replacements which help maintain facial structure, reduce stress on the jaw, and fill in gaps caused by missing teeth. Bridges can be worn throughout the day and taken off to clean at home.
Partials and Complete Dentures
Full or partial dentures replace the missing teeth both aesthetically and functionally, providing support and restoring the smile. Full (complete) dentures are used when all of the natural teeth have been lost, while partial dentures, fill in the gaps between natural teeth.
Dentures and partials need to be cleaned daily as part of your oral hygiene process. Dental Implants are similar to Dentures and partials but are a more permanent solution. Implants can be used for one tooth or multiple. See our Dental Implant Page for more information.
